Learning to play the clarinet allows you to be very flexible in terms of style. The clarinet is a versatile instrument that is at home in classical, jazz, and klezmer music, among others.

Improvisation is for many musicians the most beautiful form of making music. With the right method, anyone can learn it, and I have developed a method for this.

About me
Music, music …
I was born in Poland. I still remember my first concert at the age of 7, where I had a blackout, but I remembered my teacher’s words: “If you make a mistake, just keep going.” With this thought, I gathered all my courage and continued playing. This experience taught me that you can keep going even in difficult situations.My musical journey followed the different styles of jazz history, from blues to dixieland to swing and then from modern jazz to jazz rock to wild free jazz. Even attending a classical conservatory couldn’t stop that. About 20 years ago, my musical spectrum expanded towards world music, leading to the creation of the CD “A-kulu-moa” with the “Kontrabanda Ensemble.” After musical stays in Italy and France, I am a Munich resident.
My main instruments are saxophone, clarinet, and flute. I also play keyboard, guitar, electric bass, accordion, didgeridoo, brass shells, trumpet, nay flute, and drums. The latest music projects with my composed music are ‘Kontrabanda’ with four wind instruments and percussion, and ‘Amafé’ in Afro-jazz style, as well as ‘kopansky 4 4‘, a four-wind-instrument music group. In addition, I am working on music projects with world music, such as ‘OrientOrient‘ with oriental music, ‘Afrosaxes‘, which play in my developed Bolunga music style, and the band project ‘Salsa112‘. I write music books about my
4+5 improvisation method, briefly called 45form. So far, three volumes have been published.
